No one plan belongs to every lot so we want to help you select a lot that works with your ultimate vision.  The value we can provide multiplies if you bring us in from the very start!  We will evaluate a potential lot to determine if your desired project is feasible by reviewing city restrictions, municipal easements and uncovering hidden fee's that may be required to make that lot buildable.  We want to help you design a home that is beautiful, fits in harmony with the lot and meets your budget requirements.  As designer and builder we feel there is great benefit to you by being involved at the beginning of your home building journey, ultimately saving time and money.

Home Design

We approach every home differently and take great pride in our ability to produce any style of architecture in order to create your unique dream home.  ATK works to match you with an architect that meets your particular style, budget and needs.  We will all collaborate closely as a team to create a custom home that fits within all of your desired functions, design and cost parameters.

This is one of the most important steps of the process as this is where the our relationship forms and we are able to key into your ultimate vision.  It is here we are also able to assist you in reflecting your own personality and vision while guiding you through the little details that will make your house a one-of-a kind home.  Working together as a team ensures we are able to avoid costly oversights down the road, perform value engineering to lower costs and ensure the process is as efficient and seamless as possible.

Budget

When all of your plans and specifications are complete, the final cost of the home can be estimated.  We will discuss your allowances for things such as fixtures, brick, flooring, and appliances and include these preliminary budget allowances into your final proposal pricing. Superior planning enable us to ensure the price for every project.  We are able to provide you guaranteed pricing based on your plans and allowances, which includes our uncompromised standards and commitment; to you, this is the ultimate peace of mind.  If you need assistance with finding a construction loan, we have strong relationships with some wonderful banks that can help you.

Home Construction

During the construction phase, we will stay in close contact and meet regularly to make sure every square foot of your project meets your expectations. You will be provided a schedule of work to be completed and dates when each category of finishes need to be selected. This is fun part where your creativity and personality shine through! You will select your brick/stone/stucco type and color, windows, paint colors, plumbing fixtures, flooring, tile, cabinetry, granite/quartz, electrical fixtures, appliances and landscaping. We are glad to assist you through the many finish choices and options in every price range.

ATK is a “white glove” builder and handle all aspects of construction, from serving as the point of contact for all subcontractors, consultants, vendors and city inspectors to resolving issues as they arise. Construction will be overseen by your Project Manager, who will be on site daily ensuring all work is done to specifications, using the highest quality building materials and techniques.

Project Completion

ATK will join you for a detailed walk-through to compile a final “punch list.” Upon move-in you will receive a Close-Out Package with copies of  city documents, manuals and warranties, as well as any other pertinent information.  Now, all of your dreams and hard work have paid off. It’s move–in day. Take the keys to your one-of-a kind custom home and begin making your house a home.

On-Going Care

When your home is finished, and you move in, ATK Construction is still dedicated to your satisfaction with our product. We provide a one year warranty on our work. Even after the warranty has ended, we are still here to make sure you are proud of your home.  ATK values our relationship with our clients, you are our most valuable asset, and we pride ourselves on being available for any questions or concerns you may have moving forward!
